You may have noticed that things look a little different than they did when those books were first published.
Over the past few years, my work has grown into several connected spaces, each devoted to a different part of what I create. ToraMoon.com has become the heart of the Temple, where I write about Goddess spirituality, sacred living, creativity, and remembering who we are beneath the stories that taught us to forget ourselves.
The business side of my work with authors now has its own home.
That doesn’t mean it no longer belongs here.
It has always reflected the same philosophy that runs through everything I create: that there isn’t one “right” way to do things, only what’s right for you. The same is true for building an author career. Every writer brings different strengths, goals, seasons of life, and reasons for writing. The systems and decisions that support one author may not serve another.
My hope has always been to help writers think clearly, build intentionally, and create an author business that supports their creativity rather than competing with it.
Because your writing deserves practical foundations that honor why you began writing in the first place.
Another Room Prepared for Writers
Before I devoted myself full time to writing, I spent more than twenty-five years in business, including serving as the CFO of an international software company.
When I became an author, I discovered that many writers were overwhelmed—not because they lacked creativity, but because they were expected to become entrepreneurs overnight.
Publishing, planning, accounting, pricing, business decisions, marketing…
It often felt as though the business side threatened to eclipse the joy of writing itself.
The Indie Author Guides grew out of my desire to bridge those two worlds.
To offer practical guidance without losing sight of the creative heart that made someone want to write in the first place.
If you’re looking for complicated formulas or promises of bestseller status, my work probably isn’t the right fit.
If you’re looking for thoughtful guidance, practical experience, and encouragement to build a writing life that reflects your own values, you may find something useful there.
