Sacred Writing Collection

Writing as a sacred practice.

Words have always been one way I priestess.

For as long as I can remember, writing has been more than putting words on a page. It’s been a way of listening, exploring, questioning, and discovering. Some pieces begin with a single sentence. Others arrive as a whisper that refuses to let go until it has found its way onto the page. Whatever way they begin, writing is one way I deepen my relationship with the Goddess, with my creativity, and with myself.

Over the years, I’ve learned there isn’t a single right way to write. Every writer seems to have advice, methods, and routines that work beautifully for them. Yet what brings one story to life may leave another writer feeling frustrated or disconnected from her own creative process.

These essays grew from that realization.

They explore the craft and life of writing through lived experience rather than formulas. Some reflect on storytelling and story structure. Others explore the creative process, intuition, planning, or the sometimes winding path ideas take before they become words on a page. They aren’t meant to tell you how you should write, but to offer another way of looking at the creative journey.

Whether you write novels, essays, journals, poetry, or simply find yourself drawn to words, I hope these reflections encourage you to become more curious about your own creative process. The goal isn’t to write like someone else but to discover the way of writing that allows your own voice to emerge.

Writing has the power to help us remember, not only what we think, but who we are.

It invites us to slow down, to listen more deeply, and to give shape to experiences that might otherwise remain unspoken. In that way, every page becomes more than an act of creation.

It becomes an act of devotion.

Letting Go of the “Perfect Planner” Myth

Many writers search for the perfect planner, believing the right system will finally make them more productive. But what if planning isn’t about finding the perfect tool at all—what if it begins with understanding how you’re actually wired?
